WHO IT'S FOR: 

Anyone who enjoys, and has an interest in Photography, any skill level. Beginners are welcome, you may learn something just from being around others, and those who are more advanced may be able to contribute. THE MAIN IDEA IS TO HAVE FUN WITH OTHERS WITH THE SAME INTEREST. This means you can invite others that you know who are interested. 

WHEN: 

That could be flexible, but I'm thinkin' 4-5 gatherings during June and July, with the first meeting on Wednesday, June 19th, 7:30pm. 

...for that first meeting, we'll meet at Hope, and bring...

• the camera that you use the most, and
• one (or 2) photos that you took that says something about yourself or that has a story behind it (we wanna hear it!)

WHAT (will we do?):

Good question! You all can help dictate that to an extent, some of which we can talk about at the first meeting where you can give some input...but here are some possible ideas...(too many to do them all)

• Shooting Session - at Botanical Gardens or some other locale where we could do what we want, and then gather after a week or so to look at pics and discuss. 
  
• Image Share - not to give others your valuable photos, but just to let them look at your photos that you really like, with a chance to learn about how it was done, etc. 
  
• Exhibit Trip - if we can find one...good photo exhibits are hard to find, but that could be fun 
  
• Exhibit by Internet - like above, except we bring the images to us via internet and a large screen... 
  
• Guest Speaker - a photog who might do me 'a favor' and come hang out with us one night 
  
• Instruction - not really the intent for this group, but some of this would be okay. 

Possible subjects could be... 

• FAMILY AND KIDS - how to make mine better (the pics I mean...you're stuck with your family and kids) 
• BASIC PHOTO SCIENCE - exposure and light (Photography is a science of reverse relationships...think about that one!) 
• COMPOSITION - adding interest while doing deep-knee bends 
• FLASH - more science but we'll make it easy 
• VACATION PICS - tips and tricks 
• OPEN MIC NIGHT - "Help - I don't know why this is happening!" 
• Other ideas???
